April 2024 Proposed Amendment to ARP ESSER Plan

In the category of Learning Loss, we will include allowable coverage of existing salaries for student support staff:  2 Interventionists; 1 Social Worker; and 6 School Counselors. In Activity 4, we will add services for the digitization of student records to provide for timely and contactless access.  We will upgrade outdated networking equipment and replace existing desktop computers described in Activity 8 to ensure teachers are able to provide equitable learning experiences to students during long-term school closures and ensure continuous learning to students in the event of absence due to COVID-19.  Also in Activity 8, the platform for our district website and the online content filter will be updated to provide advanced content management and continuous monitoring capabilities to enhance accessibility, student online safety, timeliness of current information, and ease of use for all stakeholders.  We will purchase portable air purifiers and filters to mitigate the transmission of viruses in our facilities in Activity 13 of our plan.  Under category 15, we will pay allowable retention bonuses to existing employees to help ensure continuity of services and maintain a rate of employee retention that has exceeded the state average as compared to other high-poverty schools over the last 3 years.  We will also add the coverage of 3 additional existing salaries.
