The online public review period for the 2023 South Carolina Mathematics Standards "will begin on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, and end on Monday, June 12, 2023. Public comments must be submitted via the online survey forms. The link to the online survey is included below. Included in the survey narrative is information for submitting feedback. More detailed information regarding the organization of the standards and the theoretical foundations that informed this work are included in the draft standards document, also linked below. All stakeholders are invited to review the draft standards and provide feedback using the online forms below by Monday, June 12, 2023.

As a result of the dedicated efforts of a team of South Carolina educators from the school and district levels, as well as representatives from institutions of higher education, and industry, the Advanced Personal Finance (5131) is now available for public review and feedback through an online field review survey. The development process established provides an opportunity to ensure South Carolina’s high-quality standards are based on current research and best practices and meet the varied educational needs of our state’s students.

NetSERVE (Network for Sustained Educational Residencies that Value Equity) is a collaborative effort between Winthrop University, three partner school districts, and multiple state organizations to provide a unique teacher preparation opportunity for individuals interested in making a difference in South Carolina rural communities.

In 2022, the South Carolina General Assembly unanimously passed S.1103, otherwise known as the South Carolina Child ID law.
